The Basque Country is a community located in the northern Spain, an area predominated covered with forestland with an 67.8% of the total surface.
The dominating specie in the forest and our main raw material is the radiata pine (Pinus radiata D. Don). A tree native in California in US, and first planted here some 150 years ago and with massive expansion in the middle of the last century, the radiata pine counts today with an area of about 124,000 ha, a third of the entire wooded area of the community.
